Dry erase grocery list

Dry erase grocery list

Materials:
  • Picture frame with glass
  • Light-colored material
  • Glue
  • Permanent marker
  • Magnets
Directions:
  • Find a smaller, lightweight frame and clean the glass.
  • Take the cardboard back out and cover with light-colored material by stretching the material tight around the cardboard and gluing the edges to the back of the cardboard. White Elmer's glue works just fine.
  • Using a permanent marker, title your dry erase board.
  • Using a little stronger glue like super glue or a hot glue gun, glue strong magnets onto the back of the frame. Our suggestion is to secure a magnet on each corner of the frame so it doesn't fall off the refrigerator. In order to keep the frame from falling or breaking, consider sticking it to the side of the fridge rather than the front door.
You can make larger versions of this grocery list by buying larger frames. In fact, it's simple if you would like to hang one on the wall and use it as a message board. Or, if you want to make a dry erase calendar, use your permanent marker, measure out the lines for an empty calendar (with space on top to write the month) and you can keep track of your tasks every month (and never have to buy a calendar or throw anything away).  Here is a link to instructions on how to make a homemade dry erase calendar:
